Ayaka Yamashita (山下 綾佳, Yamashita Ayaka) is a Japanese dancer, stage actress, and assistant director who has built a solid career in Japan's performing arts and idol entertainment industries. She began her professional journey as an official cheerleader for the Chiba Jets basketball team (2012–2013) before transitioning into a sought-after commercial dancer. Throughout her career, she has performed on major stages, including the prestigious New Year's Eve TV special NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen, and in massive live concerts for renowned artists like the rock band GLAY. She has also served as a choreography leader and backup dancer for top-tier idol groups under legendary producer Yasushi Akimoto, including Hinatazaka46.
