Kaiti Papanika (Greek: Καίτη Παπανίκα, June 14, 1942 – June 12, 2017) was a Greek actress. Her parents were from Acharnes (Menidi) in Attica. She studied at the Drama School of the National Theatre and graduated with honors. She was taught acting by important teachers, such as Katina Paxinou, Anna Synodinou, Thanos Kotsopoulos, Dimitris Myrat, Lykourgos Kallergis, Eleni Chalkousi and Alexis Solomos. At the same time, she studied classical singing at the Athens Conservatory. As a student, she also took part in a poetry recitation festival in Paris, was awarded and declared an honorary citizen. She made her stage debut in 1964 in the play Lela's Basement by V. Improhoris at the Attikon Theatre. She then collaborated with troupes of well-known protagonists and distinguished herself in prose and review.…
